A professional gambler, Bill McKirch watches as his brother Joey gets trampled to death in a horse race because of the dishonesty of a Mafia family. Bill has plastic surgery not to be recognized by Mafia head, Jake Sconato, getting a new face to settle an old score. 

 Bill takes a job with Jake placing bets and making money for the Mafia. While working for Jake, he seeks his revenge by plotting an explosive sting against the family business. Bill sets up a corrupt betting scheme by placing illegal bets through the Mafia’s bookie offices. 

The Godfather of the family, Tony Pacino, is seething once this discovery is exposed.
